Dr. Chiaramonti
Dr. John Chiaramonti is originally from Cary, North Carolina. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Elon University in North Carolina. He then attended Optometry school at Nova Southeastern University, located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. While at Nova, John also received a second B.S. in Vision Science prior to graduating with his Doctorate in Optometry. Dr. Chiaramonti completed a 6-month Ocular Disease rotation (with an emphasis on glaucoma and macular degeneration) at The Villages VA Outpatient center. Dr. Chiaramonti has a strong clinical interest in primary care optometry as well as the treatment and management of dry eye disease, glaucoma, and macular degeneration.
Dr. Chiaramonti’s Family
Dr. Chiaramonti recently married Dr. Alycia Chiaramonti in 2017, and they now reside in Oxford, Florida. They enjoy all outdoor activities that Florida has to offer including boating, fishing, visiting local attractions and beaches. They look forward to being a part of the local communities of Sumter and Lake counties.
